Not just another CNC copy of stock clutch components, the Rekluse Core Clutch is engineered from the ground up for maximum performance and durability. For more than six years Rekluse has been the recognized leader in after-market centrifugal clutch technology. Rekluse incorporated the engineering expertise developed making the best centrifugal clutch products available and applied this expertise to make the best stock-replacement manual clutch available.
UNIQUE FEATURES
Convertible to Anti-Stall Clutch in Minutes – With the EXP Add-on Kit, the Rekluse Core Clutch can be converted from a fully manually operated clutch to a centrifugally-actuated anti-stall clutch in just minutes. By swapping the Rekluse manual pressure plate and top friction disk for the Rekluse EXP pressure plate and EXP friction disk, the clutch will automatically disengage the clutch at idle preventing accidental engine stalls.
Directed Internal Oil Flow – To maximize the cooling effect in the clutch, oil needs to move from the inside of the clutch, through the clutch plates and out. The Rekluse Core Clutch captures oil and feeds it to channels within the center clutch and then evenly distributes the oil to the clutch plates to maximize the cooling effect. Oil “dams” are used in critical places to prevent oil from “spilling” out of the clutch before the oil has a chance to cool the clutch plates.

Net Result: Cooler clutch provides consistent action during hard use, increases overall clutch durability and improves clutch plate life.
CNC Laser Cut Drive Plates with Continuous Radius Spline – Most OEM and aftermarket drive plates are stamped. Although metal stamping is a lower-cost process to produce a drive plate, it results in a drive plate of far less precision than a CNC laser cut drive plate. Rekluse CNC laser cut drive plates are made to much tighter tolerances than traditional stamped drive plates. Tighter tolerances mean less hammering on clutch components.

Furthermore, the Rekluse Core Clutch utilizes a full radius tooth profile for torque transfer between the drive plates and center clutch. A full radius contact between the drive plate and center clutch results in the load of the clutch being distributed more evenly over a greater surface area than is found in most OEM tooth patterns, resulting in less wear on the clutch components.

Net Result: Longer clutch component life, smoother clutch engagement/disengagement.
Steel Drive Plate at Top and Bottom of Clutch – Most OEM and aftermarket clutches are configured so that a friction disk wears against the center clutch and the pressure plate. Over time, the friction disk rubbing against the soft aluminum will cause premature wear of the part; even on hard anodized billet parts. The Rekluse Core EXP Clutch incorporates replaceable steel wear plates at the top and bottom of the clutch pack; protecting the expensive billet parts from friction disk wear.

Furthermore, the steel wear plate at the top of the clutch pack insulates the pressure plate from the rotational torque loading of the top most friction, resulting in smoother clutch engagement/disengagement under heavy load.
Net Result: Longer clutch component life, smoother clutch engagement/disengagement.
Precision 17-7 Stainless Steel Clutch Springs – The Rekluse Core clutch includes a set of precision wound, heat-treated stainless steel springs. Heat-treated stainless steel provides superior resistance to “sacking” from high heat cycles over OEM clutch springs.

Net Result: Longer clutch plate life from consistent clamping force.
Spring Locating Pockets – The Rekluse Manual pressure plate includes spring locating pockets and custom spring bolts with a locating shoulder to center and hold each spring away from the sidewalls of the pressure plate. Without the spring locating features, the pressure plate springs may rub on the side of the pressure plate, negatively affecting clutch disengagement/engagement and increasing wear.

Net Result: Longer clutch component life, smoother clutch engagement/disengagement.
Modular Pressure Plate with Throw-out Adjuster – By designing a complete clutch system across a wide range of models, Rekluse is able to offer a Manual pressure plate that works with all supported “big” bikes. All Rekluse Core clutch models—from a KTM 250 2-stroke to a Kawasaki KX-450F—share key common dimensions. With the Rekluse Manual pressure plate, only the position of the stock clutch throw-out changes between bike models. The Rekluse Manual pressure plate includes an adjustable pressure plate spacer so that a single pressure plate works across all supported models.
Net Result: You save money by buying a single, highly durable pressure plate that works with the bike you own today and the bike you own in the future.
