"In the world of off road competition, the vast majority of Pilots operate their motorcyles with less than acceptable time keeping equiptment under what is often called "severe riding conditions." If you operate your bike under severe conditions, it is important that you have the best time keeping equiptment available, and that your equiptment is up the the abuse that you are going to dish out to it. After trying lesser brands and feeling the frustration of unnessasary equiptment failure I recommend the purchase of the Watchdog 2000 enduro / hare scramble / dual sport computer. They are built rugged and built to last."

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions About The Watchdog 2000 Enduro / Hare Scramble / Dual Sport Computer:

  1. I ride Enduros, Hare Scrambles and Dual Sport which Watchdog Should I buy?

Good news! The Watchdog 2000 is one computer with all 3 easy to use programs already in it. When you are riding enduros use the "Enduro mode". When you are riding hare scrambles use the "GNCC mode". And when you are out on a dual sport ride or just playing around use the "Dual Sport mode".
  2. How hard is it to program the Watchdog 2000?

The Watchdog 2000 is the easiest computer to program on the market. In the Enduro mode it automaticly sorts all of your resets and speed changes. After entering the minute you are riding on, the time that the race starts and the exact keytime it will tell you how long before your race starts and begin counting down to zero to tell you when to go. Even though programing is so simple any one of the Enduro Pilot race representatives at your event will be more than happy to assist you to make sure that your Watchdog is programed correctly. We are always happy to answer any of our customers questions and make sure that your ride is an enjoyable one. Farris Enterprises/Enduro Pilot is there for you.
  3. How do I know how much life my 5000 hour battery has left?

When you turn your Watchdog on each time the first display you will see is how much life is left in your long life battery. In verisons 10.1 and before it will give you a number starting at 98% or 99% (depending on the version) and count down as the battery drained. It will take a long time for it to drop even just a point or two but when it gets down to 50% it will drop more rapidly until it is time to replace it. On the new Version 11.1 it starts at 5000 and counts down from there.

   4.       Do I need some sort of armor to protect my new Watchdog 2000 in case I crash?

No armor necessary because the Watchdog 2000 and the thumb switch is made of high strength billet aluminum.
